Rust Launch Error - Could not connect to the EasyAntiCheat network

Hey, Since the last update I can't play rust I get the error popup with the following;
Rust Launcher Error: NetworkError - Could not connect to the EasyAntiCheat network.

I tried removing local content and re-installing rust but it's made no difference.

I would like to play but can't please help.

We have now modified our backend to feed the anticheat module by HTTP protocol.

As its still under testing, could you try if it fixes the issue for you? To test, download and replace your existing EasyAntiCheat .DLL files in Steam\SteamApps\Common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat\ with these files: http://sandra.easyanticheat.net/test/ and then start the game from Steam again.

If it works we will update it to everyone.

I keep getting this error. I run windows 10 and I still can't figure out a solution. Need help ASAP please.

Has anyone gotten a 10011 error? I've been having issues all day, and it doesn't even get to the load screen before it crashes. Also a Google search for this error only leads to a bunch of people asking the same questions I am.

I'm getting this error now too, not a good first impression. It did load for me a week ago now I get the same error and that link is a 404 page.

Edit: Well I just went into the Rust folder, reinstalled the anticheat thing for rust and ran the rustclient in that folder and it loaded up

Edit2: Every time I try to join a server I get EAC:UserDisconnect

Yeah good thing I was given this game or I'd be a weee bit upset.

That link I think was malware but it expired. I was hearing on a few non-steam forums a guy was sending people to a malware thing.

Also buddy, you can try this. Go into the game files, delete the client.config file, and restart your computer. My Rust is finally working after I did that. (I also uninstalled AVG but I'm pretty sure that's unrelated)

I'm always getting this error this reads : "Rust Launcher Error: LauncherFailure - Failed to connect to anti-cheat module and a few times i fix it and i was able to play but when i shut my computer down and then restart it, it creates a whole new problem and it has nothing to do with my firewall or anti-virus and i've uninstalled and reinstalled rust like 5 times and then verified game cache and it says that there's 1 file that failed to validate and that it will be reacquired and yet when i launch the game it pops up with the same message and i'm not VAC Banned or using any type of hack so i don't know why this is happening.

Heeyyyy 2017, same error. Here's what I sent to EAC's tech support:

I am getting the following error when trying to launch Rust: 200006 (Cannot create service (StartService failed:2)). I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling EAC. I made sure Windows is update. I made sure my anti-virus is updated. I went to this thread and tried to download new dll files (broken links) and follow all advice (did not work): http://steamcommunity.com/app/252490/discussions/4/613938693149303206/?ctp=5

There is no info in your Knowledge Base on this error. Clicking "find a solution online and report" takes me to a broken link.
