Disconnected: unresponsive

When I join any server I am able to run around for about 5-20 seconds before getting disconnected with the error 'Disconnected: Unresponsive'. During this time I can see people typing in the chat and I can also type, but I can't see replies due to disconnecting.

I can move around but when I hit trees I don't get any wood or my torch makes the light sound but doesn't light. I can open inventory. I have also had a couple times where I can't wake up.

I've tried looking for help but nothing, multiple others posts with no damn answers. Please can I get some help with this.

Yes I've tried re installing, verifying, restarting all those thigns to no avail

I have been getting in contact with facepunch support just waiting for a reply since it was the weekend.

Pretty much what happens to me, the game was working great the first day of the new update. Now when I join a server I come to find that I can't gather materials, works for a little bit but then eventually I get disconnect from Steam. Doesn't take me out of the server but I'll notice in my chat that it says I've been disconnected a.

I have been able to connect to a severs (with exception) by turning off Hamachi, UnBlockUs and any other items that may change you internet behaviour.

i cant even start the game now....it comes up with the launcher press play and nothing???

Okay I got mine fixed but it was because I got a new router. I got one for free from my ISP but maybe you guys can see if you can get yours updated by them. So for some of you it might be a router problem, i'm not 100% what actually caused it but this might help

Has anyone tried updating their modem then attempting to reconnect?

That's a problem I've got with the paper map. When I put it on the belt, this error ocurrs. So I reconnected to the server and quickly removed the map from my belt. Never happened again.

I FOUND A FIX!!!!!!!!!!!
This has worked for a lot of people!
If you are running a wired connection that is probably your problem. Try to use a wireless connection only. It should work. If not RIP.
