Alt+Tab = memory leak?

I've been noticing a lot of people getting huge fps drops after alt tabbing a few times, including myself.

My RAM skyrockets from 8 GB to almost 20GB after and my FPS is just around 60 fps when that happens.

Not only that but the shadow resolution becomes pixely too.

It feels like a memory leak that devs haven't patched yet. Not sure if they watch the forums but they need to look into it.

Same here, randomly rust DOUBLES the ram used out of the blue up to 15gb. FPS tanks then randomly will eventually clear the memory and go back to 7gb. And this is with me in my base, doing nothing but farming plants. It's pretty bad and has cause my entire computer to bluescreen when the ram usage doubles and other apps are open and suddenly my systems memory is full and all apps just freeze and a blue screen saying a error code for memory crashing/running out of memory.

This bluescreen system crash ONLY happens with rust, no other game I have does this.
