Can't use hotbar

A little bit after the update the game started this bug. Every time i put something in my hotbar and scroll wheel to it or click the corresponding number the item will not show up in my hands and i wont be able to use it. If i re log i can use the stuff in my hotbar, but i'm not going to re log every time i need to switch something out.

Tried fixes: Verifying cache, Restarting game, Restarting rust, Letting someone kill me.

If anyone could help that would be awesome.

I found it might have to do with the server i was on. When i played on other servers everything worked fine.
