Water Broken... Again
Water pump in river, has power, try to run hose from water pump to fluid combiner, "Short Circuit / Max Depth".

One pump to one fluid combiner does not violate the depth limit on a water line, was working **FINE** yesterday. I've tried disconnecting everything and reconnecting everything, also picking up everything and placing it back down again.

Just upriver I have two pumps hooked to one combiner hooked to one powered fluid switch hooked to a chain of 3 sprinklers. No problem, everything is working.

BTW I just checked with other farmers on my server and they are having this problem now too, your last update broke water/plumbing.

I have the same problem, I tested it, this is the water combiners that have the problem, the spliters do work

So, found half a solution.... if you connect the pump direct to the fluid combiner it's scuffed. (short circuit /Max Depth) BUT if you place a water barrel in between pump and fluid combiner, it works. Is this intentional or a bug??

We found that our root combiners were in a horizontal line from left to right. We placed them in a pyramid formation and that fixed the issue. How this has anything to do with the fluid combiner makes no sense but it fixed it.

Berry base in the snow, had 5 or so harvests, replant for a 6th... No water when turning sprinklers back on.. Strange! Its been working the whole time. Max depth error. I have changed nothing and it just popped up on a combiner. (2nd part of the connection.)
Pumps>combiner*short here* >purifier >combiner again >barrel >pump >splitter >sprinklers.. As i understand it this can happen of too many things r hooked up...it happening at the beginning of the chain not the end.. But why it work then just stop working. I picked it all up redeploy repaired, hooking back up one by one. But i still get a short hooking up a pump to a combiner. I went directly into a purifier.. Purifier fill has power but makes no fresh water.. My water system got Herobrined!

THIS WAS HUGE THANKS!!!
So, I dont know why this worked, but i guess you guys can try this. I was having the same issue as performed in this thread. I ended up getting frustrated and i figured id unpower the pumps that were connected directly to a combiner, and took the hoses off (the pumpers were all at 2000 capacity for information sake) i unhooked the hoses from the combiner all together, i then put the hoses back to the combiner WITHOUT power first, and they all worked and outputted 12 each, totally 32 for 3 pumps. I then noticed the short circuit max depth error was gone, and then i plugged the pumps back into the branched i had set up, and it all worked correctly. I hope this helps everyone. This might have been the same thing that Gamedaddy did but unhooking the power to them and then hooking the power back in while the pumps were still plugged into the combiner? Idk but this worked for me.
