Fps drops in new forest!

I'm have a problem when I enter a very dense forest my fps drops to 42 to 55 fps when I normally average 100 fps. My specs are an i5 7600k, oc gtx 1060 6gb, and 16 GB of ram. I run the game at 1440p but even when I ran the game at 1080p with the same specs I still had the fps drops in the dense forest. Can any one help me fix the problem?
