Report a translation problem
Go into options, graphics, then find mesh quality and in that section there should be tree quality. Set that to at least 50 or 100. Also I would say turn up max tree meshes as well, set that to 100, if that is on 0 I would assume all the trees are going to be fuzzy 2D trees.
If that doesn't fix it I don't know what will.
not trying to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here but this just shows you how braindead some people are, this guy comes onto the forum and complains about the trees in game looking 2D but doesn't bother going into the settings page at all, because if you did you would have seen "tree quality" and put 2 and 2 together (i hope)

Of course I tried to change setings but this guy explained me why it looked 2D, and what values to set. I didn't knew that 50 could fix my problem.
