Rust
SERVER header image bug - blurred
The server header image gets blurred and the image quality is poor (no matter where you upload and host the image in very high quality and proper resolution described in the rust server guide here on steam). This was broken after some update and it was working perfectly.
Is this going to be fixed in the future updates? It is a nasty issue!

Still no answer. Waiting for the developer to take a look at the issue.

I have noticed that the 512x256 image is displaying bigger then the actual image file. This is probably stretching the image. Stil no fix?

I actually completely gave up on this...This is bad issue for server owners. And if you are one, then you need sh*tload of patience. It seems this issue has no priority at all. But the real problem here is not the issue itself, but the fact, it was working earlier and now it is not. Which i do not understand, why Facepunch does not care about this.

I ended up with the blurred image bug as well as the no sound bug so I guess I'll just never play the game :(

Way to necro..

What the server image looks like will depend on your graphics settings. Lower = More blurry, Higher = Less blurry.

Yeah fixed now. You right. qq for necro tho.
As far as sound issue just uninstall and reinstall driver(Realtek for instance). You should be good from there. I see a lot of people on here having trouble with it. If you have an issue with apps randomly being muted, go into your sound setting and make sure, in your COMMUNICATION folder, that it doesnt automatically attenuate.

Rent a server. Choose HD picture to upload as server banner. Launch Rust and see for yourself. It is still degraded in quality. Does not matter if it has been "fixed" or not. It is something that should be adressed, since in the earlier versions this was never an actual issue.

EDIT: Also notice my Topic date. With earlier versions i mean before 3 Dec, 2017.
