you know some the highest popular games lately on steam have been from all small companies? numbers that dwarf even the AAA companies. Will that rust imitation company do well i doubt it. because first problem it may get litigation later from rust unless its a sister company owned by rust. some companies own sister companies too how they get by being a monopoly. Anyways you shouldn't put a down small company because even GTA franchise used be small just example
i know what you mean man, and tbh i love to support smaller company's because normally they hav a fun game idea and im willing to wait for a bit for them to polish games out, and tbh thats why i think they could make a good mobile version even if it takes them a bit
Rust is not basic at all... They barely[mcvuk.com] moved half of it to consoles. Mobile has even more limitations and size do matter when it comes to hardware, temperatures and what not.
The games you mentioned are instance-based, not open world. I'm being critical because it's incredibly challenging, and there's a reason why larger studios avoid projects of this scale. The only good attempt was Utopia: Origin, and even that wasn't truly open world; it loaded in chunks and failed on several fronts. There are few Rust clones on mobile and they are all super trash & p2w.
I personally don't expect much, let alone 300+ real players on one server. It just won`t be the same and most likely similar to the console version (trash).
