Electrical Root Combination issues

Hi All I'm trying to combine my wind and solar to charge my batteries and have auto lights?

I have tried the following
3x Solar Panels -> Root Combiners -> Branch (Pass through) -> Root Combiner (wind + remaining solar) -> battery.
Wind -> Root combiner after branch pass through.
Battery -> Blocker Input
Above Branch 2 power -> Blocker
Blocker output -> lights

However this is not allowed and this is the perfect example of what I'm needing it to do.

Why not just use a clock.

He forgets to clarify that the power must come from the output, not from the branches, for the data logic to work. Therefore, you need 3 instead of 2 branches in order to have the main output free for your other circuits. You do lose 1 power in the process (2nd branch) but this branch can go for conveyors or something else with passthrough.
