yeah left rust because i got tired of being something im not in a game i like to play every day. came back still can't change my character. that is the reason im leaving again and not coming back until i can be who and what i want to be in game. sorry but that is the dumbest thing ever. so when you guys add character chage i'll come back to your game. but no game should force you to be something you don't want to be. this is a GAME NOT LIFE we get enough of THAT ♥♥♥♥ in life.

i agree, you should be allowed to customize your character, not be forced into a random character "according to your steam id".

im currently what looks like a small petite asian female...

for roleplayers, or streamers who want to create content by roleplaying different characters, this forced crap sucks.

my opinion on this has nothing to do with "real life", because to me in real life, you are born as man or woman.

Yeah, that's not officially supported. They must have had some reason for adding that but forgot to restrict it. If it was officially supported there would be a character designer, not some hidden command line parameters.

If you can't roleplay as whatever character you are in game then you should just get better at roleplay? real RP isnt about changing your characters behavior, its about being a different character in general, meaning it looks different and thus the change in behavior makes sense.

Your physical appearance also doesn't affect roles very much either. Nothing is stopping you from playing as whatever you want, unless you want to play as a "white male", then you're out of luck.

the "roles" example has nothing to do with the game and much to do with real life, it was there to clearly show you have no clue how roles work and yes a petite female wont be playing the role of a bouncer as they are weaker/smaller, you think a petite female is going to remove a 400lbs drunk belligerent man from a bar/strip club? i think not, thats why all bouncers are huge men.

yes, the choice of creating a new character when joining a server, having a limited slot amount on characters you can create, works in gta5, why not here.

not only would that bring in people who want character customization, but it would promote sales for people who want more than 1 character, they would buy more copies of the game so they can create more characters, or simply have a paid feature to add more character slots.

rpg and roleplaying have nothing to do with each other, ofc it wasnt advertised as such, its not a rpg, also no game advertises as a roleplaying game, yet loads of them having roleplaying anyway.

btw, how long till after i bought it do i have to refund? i played it for 90 minits ish and im considering to refund because of the lack of this feature. i for one, did not know about forced character and am very disapointed. i like the game play, i do not like looking at some guys ♥♥♥♥ every time i open inventory.

there are two options to cover/censore sexual organs ingame: underwear and pixelated. You can just go to options -> options -> censorship -> nudity

besides that I really think they should not add a customization feature as Rust is already toxic and racist af. I really don't care that my character isn't a white male as I am. You see your character only when you are dead and looted or naked. You should wear clothings and armor anyways. So you won't see your character at all.
