It wouldn't hurt the game at all to have different chat channels depending on who you want to talk to.

Global chat for when you want to say something to the whole server.
Personal chat for message that concern people who are on the same grid (or grid cluster) as you.
Team chat for when you need to speak with people who are inside your team.
Private chat for when you want to talk with only this one player.

Also if there was some door option for teams like when I want my team to be able to open this one door that leads to their beds.

Not really. People with mic cant tell if someone is listening to them hiding nearby so they need to be careful to not tell everyone around the code to their doors and other important informations. Lots of people use discord to talk between themselves outside of the game and make certain no one is listening to their conversations and its great that this tool exist... it's just sad that there's nothing inside the game itself that would allow players to communicate efficiently.

how to you switch to global chat when you are in a team. Only my team sees my messages how can i switch to general when in a team...?
