Animal fat exploit

Players can kill themselves with the F1 kill option, come back and loot their body for resources like animal fat.

So it would be better if players can only respawn when their own body is chopped or disappeared. Ok, it takes some time before a body disappears but not ages. And players can't get back over and over again to attack you, while you've killed them allready.

Not only is the suicide option used to get free resources from harvesting your death body again and again. They use it as a cheap teleportation device. Just kill yourself and respawn at another sleepingbag/bed.

Never seen someone do that, but your second point, using it as a teleport, is realy a problem. A lot of players do that. Buy giving a cooldown when killing yourself you could prevent that. It should just happen when killing yourself, not when you are killed by someone else or an animal.

Even if you're killed by someone else or a animal. Because a two player clan can kill each other and respawn just to get resources. And if you do this with the suicide and killed by someone else, why not killed by an animal? So players have one system if they die.

How much fat do you get from a human body? In fact I never kill humans for ressources and don´t rip their bodies...

Don't know, but it isn't much. So they need a few suicides to get a furnace ;)

And why look for food if you can eat your own body again and again. OK it isn't the best choose anymore, but you can survive with you own meat :p :D

I think you only get one animal fat, that´s not realy worth it, I would say...
And I wouldn´t eat my body, even if it is in a game! ;)

Agreed it's an exploit but the reward is minimal so I don't think facepunch should waste time fixing it. Besides the low fat amount, human meat dehydrates you and doesn't provide much health.

I just realized I could fill a box with my own skulls by doing this. I love this game.

The lower the animal fat they'll get or what ever resources (skulls :p ), they'll have to use the suicide option more. That's why it called an exploit in the first place ;)

This was already nerfed to address just this. You need to kill yourself like 20ish times to get a furnace, or you can kill just one animal.

They also removed cloth from humans so that you can't even make the low grade fuel without leaving in the first place. Also the food that you get from harvesting humans will dehydrate and kill you.

So in short you can spend about two hours killing yourself adding to your death count, or you can just use your rock to kill one boar. If they nerf it even more you'd just get banned for killing yourself.

you actually can contain alot of animal fat, because how much a person gives when you harvest them depends on how long they have been alive (while online, not while being a sleeper). i don't really think this is an exploit because it would take alot more effort its already nerfed as much as it can be really

@ Who?: and that will only happen, if you are alive for a long time. If you kill yourself again and again you will not gain more fat.
