False ban due to cheat engine?

i think i was false banned do to eac flagging cheat engine on my computer howeveri am unsure as on my account it says i was banned 2 days ago but if i check else where it says i was banned on the 3rd on december if anyone knows why this is could you let me know, also before you claim i was cheating i have 650 hours on rust on top of that its to much effort to cheat

No it's not. It's because the process was running and was accessing EAC or Rust's files and or attempting to change them.
I have EAC blacklisted softwares that I use all the time but never when I'm running a game with them banned and I've never been banned because of that.

I have EAC blacklisted softwares that I use all the time but never when I'm running a game with them banned and I've never been banned because of that.

The only time I had used cheat engine was for minecraft dungeons which was a few hours prior and I had closed it

Again like I said earlier too much effort to cheat and I see no point in it and yes I didn’t know that could cause a vac ban however I thought I had closed it after attempting to mod my Minecraft dungeons character to make the game a bit more enjoyable

Good. You shouldn't have cheat engine at all. Your whole steam account should have been locked as far as I'm concerned

Cheat Engine is great freeware for reverse engineering programs and finding exploits, granted you choose to report them or not. But yeah, never run blacklisted softwares while playing Rust, and certainly don't try to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ use them on Rust.

Appeal for unban on EAC website[www.easy.ac]. No one can help you here.

Having Cheat Engine doesn't cause a ban I have had Cheat Engine on my pc for years now while playing rust. You also can't hook into Rust with CE, its kernal based blocked out from memory reading and modifying, you would need a kernal bypass to even remotely get in and cheat.

ignore the people talking nonsense, they have no clue what they are talking about, EAC wont ban you for having cheat engine installed on your pc, i have had it installed on all my computers for a decade or more.

You deserve to be banned for even thinking about cheating
