It's still handy, and It's especially a pain in the ass on starter bases.
How long have you been playing? When you have a base and a furnace there is zero reason to use wooden doors. Every base is mostly filled with sheet metal doors and main loot is most likely protected with armored door. It should be common knowledge that wooden doors are not useful after you get a furnace. Also this hasn't ruined anything for me and it seems that not many other give a flying fcuk about it so speak only for yourself. Oh and the skins do not disquise the door to look like a wall or a turret or anything, it is still a door and if you can't pay enough attention or use even the smallest amount of logic to figure that you need to most likely blow it up it is not a flaw in the game. Maybe you would like that other players are required to put arrows in ther base to point you the shortest way to loot, maybe they also should leave the doors open? I mean really, you are butthurt for not being able to steal other people's stuff, get over it dude.
