Game crashes after i try joining a server

Does anyone know what could be causing this issue? Whenever i try to join a random server, the game crashes after the message "loading terrain mesh". Ive already tried some startup options such as "-dx9" etc., i also tried allocating virtual memory. Nothing seems to be helping

try this server "connect 65.21.65.99:28030" - copy and paste it into the game console while in the main menu. The console opens with F1.

its going to crash again, its not because of the server its more of a game problem or hardware problem

You can reinstall the game. Maybe this will help. In any case, it won't get any worse.

I want you to load rust and leave it at the first page (menu) for a couple of minutes to see if it still crashes without entering a game

I want you to load rust and leave it at the first page (menu) for a couple of minutes to see if it still crashes without entering a game

Also an error message popped up today for the first time. It says”
The instruction at 0x000002F1A6177C65 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000018. The memory could not be written.” When I looked it up online, it referred to ram issues. A random site clued that I should scan my computer through cmd to see if there are any corrupted programs and if there are, they”ll be automatically reinstalled. I did that and I also made virtual memory. I tried once again booting up the game and joining a server but to my surprise it still hasn’t worked…
