Devs speak on Kai Hoodie and Kai Rug Twitch drops

here is what they said when I messaged support about not receiving the Kai Hoodie

"Hello -------,

Sorry for any confusion this has caused! The subscription needs to be purchased or gifted while Kai is in the Rust category. We understand he has not been active in the Rust category causing some issues with the Hoodie being granted. We are currently working with Twitch to find a solution."

Facepunch continues to do a piss poor job with these events. They don't make sure streamers they select will actually play during the event enough for people around the world to get the twitch drop.

yeah its really annoying and this has been one of the worst drops in terms of streamers actually streaming Rust.

It doesnt say they need to be streaming the game to get the hoodie which is annoying.
And people who got a sub wasted money cause he needs to be streaming rust for the hoodie but it didnt say that.
Seems sketchy, false advertising much.

Kai isnt your average streamer and the 130-150,000 people that saw him play Rust for 3 hours is more than everyone else in the event combined, so whats your point?

Oh you're joking I gifted a sub and it doesn't count because he has to be streaming at the time in the Rust category! They could have made that clearer.

I don't care if he has 200k views, if you agree to take part in the event, you should stream more during peak time so people can earn the twitchdrop. That or have rust open while he plays a pre recorded video clip while they all sleep.

Free drops are not a problem, the problem is when they charge for it and do not compensate with the purchase, that is fraud, and it is reportable to the courts and to Steam.

Lame that you don't allow the drop, who cares if they had a lot of viewers, they are not rust players, charging subscriptions for ugly rug and hoodie, they look like idiots sitting around watching tv with a spinning wheel behind them for the past few days , they probably just took the little kids from Mr. Beast since he's got a pedo ring going.

The Kai drop will be the most rare skin ever. Dude hasn't even played rust. Why would they give drops to people who don't play the game?
