Rust

I give up Rust. Too many HACKERS.
I'm tired of spending hours grinding and farming, building a strong house to hold up my stuff and someone just walks through my walls and steals my stuff. They don't even need to play, just enter the game and hack someone's house.

I am going to stop playing Rust until the dev team fixes the hack problem (and I think I'm not going to be the only 1).

Also, I'd like to say to all hackers how poor they are inside, ruining a game thats so enjoyable. What's the point in beating someone by unfair ways? That doesn't even make sense. It's like playing chess using 20 queens. Stop being children and act as men.

I don't need hack, you don't need hack.

They just sent out a wave of VAC bans. They don't do them one at a time. So as each wave rolls over, more and more of them will be banned from the game.

There are hackers that agree with you because there are some players that have hacks but they only activate them when ever there are other hackers in the game. Not to ruin the non-hacking players but to ruin the other hackers day :)

You have to fight fire with fire :/

just to note that makes no difference they can just buy another copy and a new steam account

If they want to keep throwing money away just so they can cheat for awhile before being banned, well that's their issue. Hard to stop people from just rebuying the game, but eventually the cost will get to them.

yeh ik thats the funny part

I have stopped playing these past couple of weeks for the same reason. I have been playing Entropy instead of Rust. Rust seems to be lacking the dev feedback whereas Entropy the developers are constantly communicating with the players and it makes playing the game a lot less stress full in its Alpha state. Rust is being made by a team of people who really seem to care less about the community and even less about their game. They know what problems are driving players away from Rust and yet they continue to do almost nothing to fix the current issues. Until Rust is "Playable" I will be playing other games that are in Alpha such as Entropy (which is slow, but it is more fun than being hacked after wasting hours of pointless grinding).

You have to buy the program to run this hack, by doing this you're supporting the people who have created this ♥♥♥♥. Don't you see? Best way to deal with it is to be against radically.

thats not true
VAC is 100% automatic. VAC just waits days/weeks before it bans someone who cheated
that is why it just kicked in. the people who are banned now are the ones who cheated on the first day that VAC was active. tommorow all cheaters who cheated on day 2 will be banned

Now I never said I bought this stuff
So far it's the only way
For example:
Planetside 2 has so many hackers that there is no point playing legit because of the ammount of hackers. I don't play planetside 2 no more because of it

Eversince I started playing Rust my experience is going to ♥♥♥♥ because of the lack of security even though there is no punkbuster or any anti-cheat built into the game except for Vac. Which is crappy

VAC is actually pretty good it even bans players that used a keygen for the game and kicks players with harddrive and memory problems. it probably uses those weeks to analyse if the person was really cheating so it wont give false positives. i never heard someone getting a falsepositive ban by vac. the wave of bans just started. i think in 2 weeks there will be 80% less hackers

Just got Rust 4 days ago, built a small base got some stuff and was enjoying it even though some people KOS. Then logged in today and my base was secure but all my stuff was gone. Hackers will destroy what has the potential to be a good game.

Do not build anything big, do not invest any time in major fort, do not hoard stuff for days. Game mehcanics will make it all go poof due to theft or decay. This game is not minecraft, this game is about killing and stealing from others and not about survival. Who is afraid to die when you wake up again, this is not DayZ. So survival is not the key word here, its only about hurting others.
