But as Hunter said, you can join a PvE server.
Didn't know this was possible. thanks.
On a general side-note: I do not need to pay €18 only to be ganked and listening to kids talking about screwing my mom. I'm 37 and to old to deal with idiots like that. Luckily my own kids have online manners.
If this is the type of game this will be I rather my money back!
PvP doesn't have to mean that people have to be dîcks...I think.
I also think the devs should have made the game PvE until it is stable and in at least Beta...but meh, who am I to complain anyway. Nobody :)
I tried that but that server list is twiching like a metal patient.. lol I can barely read the server names , never mind clicking them as the list re-sorts every half second.. lol
I keep trying, maybe I get lucky :)
I did the research and decided to go with it based on past experiences like other MMORPGs which allowed ganking. Though my era of online community would usually only find a few gankers around while the majority of the community were normal people who did not see much point in gunning down a freshly spawned player.
This game however is attracting the pure ganking elites and there is not a shred of decency left anymore in most online community when it comes to PvP.
The "anonymous" online community is getting worth by the day and when you complain about it it's either "Oh, QQ, I screwed your mom" or "RTFM" or "It's Alpha".
Seriously, why can't people just be decent online without having to be either threatened with bans into the decent moral behaviour or have the game force decency through mechanics?
I blame the devs for not taking this into consideration, as usual the "It's Alpha" label comes to the rescue for any complains :)
The developers are cheeky/impatient enough for pushing a barely legit Alpha out then ask you to pay for testing it but do not provide themselves the servers you can test on but let the gankers ruin the experience.
That is based on me assuming that PvE servers are community driven and not provided by the devs. If that is incorrect please tell the the servers provided by the devs and I shall go there.
If the devs are not providing the environment for you to test the game then please give me my money back!
So NO, RTFM is not going to change anything.
Complaining to the developers and opening a support ticket under consumer rights to get my money refunded is the only way to get developer to start doing their job properly.
The type of people that I was talking about!
The official servers provided by the devs are all PvP it seems.
My main issue is that the PvE servers enabled for better testing of the game is community driven and not provided by the people I paid.
If that is incorrect I retract my statement.
Is it a mmo survival game?
Do you have guns and such?
Can anyone access it and is player vs player enabled?
If the three questions above are answered with yes, then you will find the following possible:
-Kids that sit around during the night collecting things will outrun you in terms of stacking up weapons because they don't have a job, same with people that don't work.
-People that have a tendency to ego-trip or power-trip, WILL do so because there is nothing holding them back. If they would be in the room next of yours they'd not dare behave like that, at all.
-Kiddies with selfesteem issues will pick on new players because they are bored and lack a life, as mentioned in point one.
The game name doesn't matter, the mechanics don't matter, the developer doesn't matter.
