How do you stop decaying?
I checked on the Rust wiki and all it says is add the resource used to make your base to your base, but it says nothing on HOW to actually add it to your base. Any help would be appreciated.

just add wood too your action bar, then go up to the item you want to repair and hit the button.

Thank you so much! My base was nearly down.

My wood large spiked barricades are decaying really fast. Is there a way to prevent them from decaying, or is that impossible? Just in case it matters, they are formed i a large circle around our base, and they are connected to two gates

You can't prevent it from happening, unless the admin has decay turned off.

Had to turn it off on my server, at least for now.. I think my ownership remover plugin was affecting the speed of decay somehow... And it hurts casual players
Hope they add a better way to slow it down

Place down foundations and put your spikes on top of those and that will reduce the decay as they are not directly on the ground. Activating doors on a foundation apparently reset the decay of objects on a foundation, so if you want, stick doors on the foundations behind the spikes and just open/close them from time to time..... extra security too :P
