The "No PvP" Servers

Do people actually honor the No PvP agreement on these servers? Is it enforced?

I kind of want to play on a no PvP server just to get started, so I can figure things out without being killed all the time. But all I ever hear about is how players just kill each other all the time, so I'm not even sure if people heed the no PvP labels.

It's set to PvE, meaning you CAN'T PvP even if you tried.

But it also ruins 75% of the game.

Yeah, I wouldn't stay on it for too long. I'd just want to get a feel for things first.

How often do people actually get killed by other players on the other servers? All the talk I've heard makes it sound like literally everyone is a bandit.

i play on a low pop server and theres barely any. but the game is pretty much KOS

I started on a non pvp server and there was always admins on enforcing it... look for no pvp admin enforced...only bad thing is they wipe the server often... but as said above it gets old quick

Is it KOS even under the most ridiculous circumstances, a la DayZ? I've heard in DayZ people with knives will desperately charge at guys with assault rifles just for the sake of killing someone. If you have a firearm, will unarmed players actually leave you alone or is it still a bloodbath?

sleeper is when you disconnect your body remains in the world and you can be killed, so you have to build a base to protect yourself. no sleeper is when you disconnect your body is removed from the game world so you can not be killed while you are offline

I've had people attack me with Rocks while I had an M4 in hand. It's very KoS, but that's how people are with these games. I've also met some people that don't shoot everyone.

Also, sleepers means when you log out, your character is asleep on the ground.

on a low pop server people tend to be frienlier but if you have an axe and you see a fully kitted guy and kevlar rummaging through a box im pretty sure every single player would have a go at murdering him

It depends on the server. The two I've played on most people were nice and only picked fights with people who had ticked them off. On the first though there was a single group of 6 that went around raiding. Most servers are a bit worse I think

depends on the person , most people wont ennage you, some will for the sakes they havent got anything anyway, and the third kind of please i need food and run close then try to smack or shoot you anyway.
