Friend has server browser issues? Can't see all servers?

My friend has just bought the game and we can't see the same servers. He seems to be seeing a limited amount of servers. Whenever I join a server, he cannot see me through Friends on the server browser. If he joins one, I can't see him either. We've tried restarting the game, restarting Steam and restarting PC...

Any clues?

Same issue. I used to play on a Server, now I can't see it anymore, neither can I joing my girlfriend throught Steam nor can she invite me.

Yeah, not sure what happens with his game. He was able to connect with the net.connect command, using IP and port of server, but he only sees like 15-20 servers.... Weird

Steam update i.e promos = rust / dayz and some other games glitch its not the devs its STEAM authentication system it buggers up everytime.

Same problem. Can't find a server my friend is playing in after 20 minutes of searching and restarting Steam, internet, etc. I also don't see it show up in the friends server list and I can't join through Steam either.

I noticed major lag in game now i cant access the server keep gettung face punched gonna restart steam.

just get him to give you the ip and log in using the f1 button

For me the net.connect command won't work for a server I cant see. However, a friend in the same room as me is playing in the server. More frustrating then that, I'm the admin! Lol...

net.connect is not working for me, either.

I can't even see any servers when I load up Rust, I can't do net.connect because it fails to execute it.

You need to wait, apparently it took me a while so i saw some servers.
