Sleeping bags and respawn

So i log into my server i been on this morning and i appear in the middle of no where with everything gone. If you get killed when your logged off does it tell you when you log in or do you just know cus of starting over again?

Also i had a sleeping bag but i cant respawn at my house. If they destroy your sleeping bag i though tyou can still respawn at the "last location" your sleeping bag was at?

If your sleeping bag is destroyed and you are killed while you were asleep, you random spawn and start all over again. Build somewhere out of sight.
