you don't seem to understand the dynamics of the game. if you don't have it you don't know how it is. it is all about surviving alone or in group, you need to find materials for everything. Building a town is just one the things you can do.

I understand it perfectly well. It's been done. Over and over. And it's been shown, over and over, that games like this are nothing but griefer fests and then die.

I have no problem with the core concept and would think it was great, if there was an actual "game" involved and it wasn't just a pvp sandbox.

The topmost screenshot in the screenshots section of this hub has a chat box showing a griefer at work. I would get this if I can avoid PvP.

sad i would have bought it but as it seems you allow machine guns and pistols also in this game i see where this ends on your screenshots either perverts run around killin each other or free for all is what comes instead building.
sad for a lost chance to see a really good idea go life .
gankers and griefers will hold tjhe top scores if not cheaters.
if you show me that independent servers can be used or so called clean servers without guns ok i might give it a try as i think you can defend against axes and bows but not against modern guns .

for those who think all this game is, is a 'griefer fest' then you have spent the time looking for quality servers. There are many servers where the admins purely strive to allow players to base together and build an online communty of peace, and im not talking about pve servers. if you dont believe me then check this server out and see for yourself net.connect 27.50.72.176:29215

There is no point in PVE, it goes against everything in the game.

Lets say you play cooperatively with the other players, you all build up huge amounts of resources, and more importantly weapons (M4's, BAR's etc). Now what? Do we hunt red animals now?

Find a modded server with good admins. Preferably, a server with non-player admins. I've the luxury to be able to Admin for my server in-game without needing to actually play. I've been doing it for months now.

The game itself can not stand on it's own for a general enjoyment of the game across the board. My server took the initiative and we started making our own mods. We altered crafting, loot tables, air drops, decay, messages hell we even altered the weapons in the game for more balance and progression.

But, every server has it's ups and downs; just some a lot more downs than ups. Expect to feel like you're playing Demon Souls on a public server, hope you don't get a community/modded server with abusive admins, or just join my server and get bored with RUST naturally as every game is meant to go through.

People just want to fail and succeed naturally without feeling like they're not getting the full package of what RUST has to offer due to griefing, abusive admins, hackers, and unbalanced game mechanics.

I've been doing just fine by myself. I don't make friends, but I also don't make enemies. Usually keeps me off the radar in terms of raids, and if ♥♥♥♥ does hit the fan, it's time for retribution, and then I move on.
