why is it so bad? wasn't always like this. Facepunch know this is a issue? Few times me and a lot of people i have talked to almost crashed a mini into a tall base, As it render at last sec and sometimes only half to base loads, you can see the whole base layout and any hidden loot rooms. I have played with the setting with no luck. Also i have had mini's and a attack heli clip through roof and blow up after a safe landing. Can we get a fix? Some quality of life update. Or you to busy adding stuff Minecraft did years ago?

and it will keep up better
maxed out settings when flying can give you a real lag spike and quite impressive visuals usually resulting in death for newer players
windmills and twig are the worst for this!
get better height to start
sort your settings and turn that render to minimum and see how that goes!
you can switch back once landed but it should vastly improve your experience!
go try on a pve server so you don't lose anything and you should see a huge difference
