Pillars, Pillars, Pillars.

Even then, without a plugin, eventuallly you`ll come across reducing %`s.

In some places, the stability is fine but every time I create a wall, it breaks. It's annoying because I can't put pillars there due to other walls being in the way. The upper floors are less stable because there isn't anything to support them. As a result, I can only build to 4 floors maximum before stability drops to a point that all new walls break immediately.

I have even placed foundations on flat, firm ground that only have 78% stability, WTF!

Ive been there mate, built on flat places, perfect setup, pillars reinforced walls (blocks under floors) for the base levels.. no extensions, just straight up. Then i get one windo that wont let me put in some bars, or a random wall that falls apart when it shouldnt.

Sometimes game just wants to stilleto you where the sun dont shine.

If you have the resources, try the exact same design in another spot. See if its a build design flaw or an area instabilty. If for nothing more than your own sanity on the matter knowing the root of the problem.

strangly its not only just pillars but I found its also the order of how you place things that determine the stability. I have a base where the top level roof on some spots were at like 5-7% and after removal of the 2 lower walls and placing them in a different order I got the stability to around 65%-70% stable. Its not perfect but better than it breaking right away.
