EasyAntiCheat - cannot run under Windows Test Signing Mode.

Hi,

I cannot run this game becouse of this error (I need different SLI app to connect my graphic cards). I am not any kind of cheater and cannot play game which I bought from You. I've readed few more topics about this anti cheat and ppl have kinda same issues with that. So here are my questions.

How u gonna solve that problem? I bet there are two ways: stay with it (they said that they will not make exception for users with test modes cause ppl can code hacks faster (♥♥♥♥ the logic and users)) or replacing it with another anti cheat.

If u stay with first option. There will be any refunding options for this game?

Yeah it's EAC that's causing it. So they need to fix it or FP needs to find another anticheat in order for you to have it your way. Highly unlikely however, since they seemed convinced that it helps protect from hacks, which it does. It's just a shame that the innocent have to suffer the same consequences as the guilty, but that's the sad truth.

I take from your first parenthetical comment that you understand why windows is in test signing mode, so I think you know how to get Rust to run, but is it worth it? Game is a mess atm

You guys are real idiots. Let me just start with that.

I honestly don't know if you pirated windows, or how you enabled test mode... as "normal" people NEVER have it enabled.

It doesn't take more than 5min to find out how to disable test mode... and! well you better guess the outcome.

This can be caused if test-sign mode is started.

To disable test-signing, use the following BCDEdit command using the command prompt:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING OFF

Note: After you change the TESTSIGNING boot configuration option, restart the computer for the change to take effect.

To enable test-signing, use the following BCDEdit command:

Bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON

steam dont provide any refunds even to write about it or asking is forbidden

I pretty know how to turn if off. Just enable normal windows mode and get rid of my second graphic card...(honestly? It's not worth to turn it off cause of 1 game). It's just... you know... it's first time for me that game requires to be in normal mode rather than in test mode. Test mode is a function provided by OS so why u can't use that? EAC staff is pretty pathetic writing about reasons why they are not allowing it.

I've explained it in first post. Please read it carefully. There are softwares that require windows to stay in test mode (for ex. mine lets me using my 2 graphic cards at SLI even when my motherboard is for crossfire link). Turning off testsigning disables this software. So for me, I'd rather to stay with my 2 graphic cards than with 1 game.

I run test mode as well...but guess what it's only to run Dolby Digital off of my sound card...the only way to enable it is to get into the software and force it to run with some software that will only work in test mode. SO again, great job google warriors and 13 y/o's you just figured out "INTERNET"

TLDR: Just because you run test mode doesn't mean you are cheating on RUST.

This is just annoying. I have a driver as well that I need to run and that's why I have this option turned on but apparently that's not allowed because of EAC's antics. I won't be playing Rust until this is fixed. As a customer and an avid video game fan I think this is just BS.
