How does the bear trap work? Is it usable?

it is now! it's very simple, you just need to find it or if you got teh blueprint for it, craft it!
all you gotta do is just place it down ANYWHERE you want and just wait for an animal, or maybe a human to step on it, and snap, depending on what the other player is wearing, it can either 1 shot it, or leave it down to 20 hp and make him/her bleed to death, getting you free loot, and free human meat!

if you step on it, you will hurt yourself, even though its your own bear trap, advising you to put it pretty close to your base that you know of, for good reasons such as, easy loot so you wont have to walk miles away fromy our and you will know where it is

loot doesnt despawn as fast if the person died on a bear trap, but wills till despawn

if its been set off onc ealready you will have to rearm it, so be careful!

also another note, it is very rare to find bear traps in barrels, I found most of mine (had 3 so fa and 1 bear trap blueprint) in airdrops, you can also get them in rad towns but there is a lot of
