The gun won't fire? Ek Pistol woes

Anyone else having trouble with this gun? I have pistol ammo, but the gun won't fire. Can anyon tell me why, and how to fix it?

i have same bug, they should fix it

did you fire it once without ammo? it seems quite similar to the bow bug (it breaks after trying to fire it without arrows)

Then what's the point of having the pistol ammo for it? I wish they'd stop doing that.
