The Game is stuck on the Loading Screen

Hey everyone, so I've had an issue for a couple of months now; one that has yet been fixed (To my knowledge). Rust's main menu loads up perfectly with no problems, however when I go to the server list to try and join a game, the loading screen appears as normal and even recieves the server's info...for a brief period. Afterwards the "LOADING- RECIEVING 6576 / 12511" status will just freeze. My computer is still responsive, and I can access the Steam Overlay as I please, but the dag-on thing just won't continue receiving. I've seen a few people with this same problem a few months ago, but they never reported a fix. If anyone could please give me an idea of whats wrong with the loading screen error, I would greatly appreaciate it, especially since I can't find answers anywhere else I've looked.

My computer ran it perfectly (Nividia 730 2GB / AMD FX 4300 (Quad Core) /8 GB RAM / 1TB Memory / 3.9 GHz / Windows 8.1. / My Internet is always fast

Hello gents, I've the same dang troubles. I get stuck on 'receiving data xxx/xxxxx'. I've been following a few threads regarding this and there seems to be no answer to it. Yesterday I ran the game just fine and now today I get this crud. I've had this problem on and off since a few updates ago. It seems as though the devs are aware of the problem for at least a couple of months but nothing has been corrected yet... yes, it's Alpha I know... I enjoy Rust, when I can play it.

Well they've said that their netcode is causing some people to unable to join to the servers.

They're trying to change it next week, so it might have something to do this issue.

Next week – more of the same. I’m hoping to get the network system transitioned to raknet – which should fix a bunch of network related problems people are having – and will probably add some new ones that people aren’t having right now.

Well guys I've found a solution! At least it works for me.
Go to your Steam Library, right click on Rust, go to Properties, at the top there should be a tab that says "Betas", after that you will see a box that has a list arrow next to it. Click it. Go through and try each one. I've found the most success on "Legacy". If you encounter any errors, keep going through and try each option.

I am getting a similar issue with current release. It is happening to me in both Windows 7 and Windows 10.

Each time I go to start Rust, sometimes I get to the server list and it quickly closes, other times I see it crash at "EasyAntiCheat Loaded"

Each OS has seperate Rust install folders so installs are not the same data. I've tried reinstalling Steam, Rust, and EAC on each OS and no success. My dxdiag info is below:

This was several months ago and they fixed what was ever causing my problem. Mine turned out to be a USB Audio Device being connected causing the problem. Try disconnecting any "extra" hardware you dont need and try again.

for me it will load everything then say done the noise in the server will be going but the screen wont change then on the rare occasion that it actually loads in it lags so much i cant even wake up

I have gotten this problem recently and just fixed it. DExMatt's way semi worked for me. I did what he said then after I loaded the game in Legacy I went back to the "NONE" option and it worked again! It could also be that I juts needed to reinstall my rust though.

I keep on getting stuck on large monuments... havent played the game for 54 days and this started happening
