It`s performance over beauty thing. You don`t need it at all with 4060 TI & 7800x3d.
Unreal Engine is more advanced when it comes to out of the box DLSS optimization.
You can`t expect FP to to get it running properly so quick while using Unity. This driver just came out and there are many issues already. And yes, there is always a performance boost with DLSS... at the cost of quality. It makes more sense to use in newer games like Cyberpunk but if you go to check their forums there are many complaints about the newest DLSS. Usually, the best PvP players use resolutions as low as 1280x1024 stretched not just for performance but bodies and other textures are wider...then you think they're cheating, wondering how they even saw you xD
