What are the rules for if the patrol heli will shoot you?

Does it just shoot everyone now? Back in the day I swear it wouldn't shoot you as long as you only had 2 pieces of clothing on and no weapon in hotbar or something

You need to be fully naked and no weapons in the hotbar. If someone nearby agro it sometimes shoot you anyways

no ranged weapons and one piece of clothing
so a hazzie axe and pick are fine along with a knife or club
any metal clothing gets you shot like any gun / bow rocket launcher etc
farmed many times with heli around :)
so as stated above you cannot be wearing a full kit with a rifle and live unless you plan to take heli :)

Thanks! Can the bow / gun or metal clothing be in your inv? as long as not in hotbar / wearing? Or can't even be in your inv?

It's actually 2 clothing items (a backpack, airtank and parachute count towards this number), you may only have melee weapons in your hotbar save for a hunting bow. All the things Dooks said are a load of dribble by someone who doesn't know anything about the game.

Also, it does not matter what material your clothing items are; if you wear a metal facemask and chestplate as your only 'armor' options, heli will not shoot you.

it can be in your inventory.
also backpacks are fine to keep on aswell.
