Sfc /Scannow
Any 3rd party anti-viruses on the pc?
Have you updated your bios, windows or video drivers recently?
You can check Windows Event Viewer for any clues.

More stuff to try:
Open Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
Locate the "EasyAntiCheat" folder and delete it
Then verify your game files which should re-install EAC.

Could also be your internet dropping packets, even a small issue will disconnect you.
Could be overheating, Rust needs bigger heat sting than the stock ones. Laptops are not meant for gaming, even if they are marketed as "gaming" ones that is an absolute lie. Even expensive ones will start thermal throttling within 30 minutes of active gameplay then crash or lag like crazy. Especially with this game....
There are like 30-40 more things to try xD If you feel overwhelmed just contact Facepunch on their support page and send them error logs to investigate. Never post these elsewhere as they often contain critical system information.
I got it running at work on Phenom II, win 11 and 8gb of ram with slight modifications xD
Funny thing... on my good home pc I do have occasional crashes lately that i`m too lazy to investigate...
but seems like driver booster helped for now
