since you wont add me back on steam pleb, ill be listening to every shadowfrax video and will link u the correct video where he shows the 2 devs breaking down the expenses that the game has using its current game engine.. % of everysale goes to the game engine, they said they wanted to oust that and create/use a newer more developer friendly engine.. which would create a new game, video was released in 2023, still looking... maybe you should look into the yearly player charts to see how games popularity is turning to dawg ♥♥♥♥

Nobody ever said they were making Rust 2. In response to Unity raising prices and changing the contract they made with Facepunch to the tune of millions of dollars, FP said in a tweet and press release, something along the lines of - "If we ever made a Rust 2, it wouldnt be on Unity."

Thats not them saying they are making Rust 2, thats them saying they hate Unity so much now because of how they gouged FP for money they dont deserve that they would completely abandon it immediately if they could but since they cant, any future games wouldnt be on Unity.

Thats ALL they said, and thats ALL they meant by it, despite any unwarranted hype being generated by yourself.

Everyone is mad but the truth is RUST is not a fun game and hasn't been fun for QUITE some time now. The cheating is OUT OF CONTROL and the play style that has evolved over the year ONLY appeals to the WORST. These developers must live in a BUBBLE because they have the most bizarre choices when it comes to "improvement"...... Cheers (also russians)

Weird, because on the servers I play, there are minimal cheaters... I think it's just where you choose to play.
