The whole point of this is to increase the price of entry to reduce the amount of cheaters you meet, its 100% optional. it went from 3$ an account to cheat to 18$ suddenly 10-20 accounts a month is costly
I'm honestly curious do we know how much money they make from market sales? Because I'm assuming Steam takes a % the seller clearly gets the most so how much does Facepunch get from say exactly 15 quid worth of skin sales on the market?
Not saying you are wrong for a second but I'm honestly curious as to how much they are making from this.
Facepunch basically make no money from this if people buy from the market. As that is player to player sales with only Steam taking a cut.
Cheat subscriptions cost $20 to $50 per month, so this won't significantly reduce their use.
I personally don't mind, but it is somewhat discriminatory towards players who are legit and can`t afford extra costs.
