Rust
blacklisted device bloody mouse/a4tech
Это что? Типа покупаешь игрулю, в системных требованиях нет никаких ограничений по девайсам и постфактум видишь что с твоей мышкой нельзя играть. Найс, изи рефанд.

Those devices have on-board memory and chip that executes that without PC's knowledge.

In other words, on such devices you can run recoil scripts without your PC recognizing it as a script.

Bloody mouse is not a good mouse tbh

I understand why they are prohibited, I don't understand why this information is not in the technical requirements. I refunded Rust already and don't worry any. Thanks you for you response. Have a nice day and game sessions!

It is on their website under FAQ.

Why would they put that in the tech specs? Do you think they should just say "oh yeah if you're using a mouse to cheat, you won't be able to"

1) I bought (and refunded) game in Steam, but not on their website.
2) Coz hardware requrements is part of tech specs?
3) They should just say "any keyboards/mouses without macros executing"

In general, it is somehow narrow-minded to assume that mouses with macros are used only in games for cheating. I use a mouse to draw drawings, macros help me to set dimension callouts in one click hover on object.

Have a nice day.

You can use macros without executing them on your mouse, they can be executed on your PC.

There's a difference. A massive difference, Also macros are not as strictly prohibited in Rust, Instruments we can play on allow us to use macros to play complex musical themes on them.

Reason your mouse banned is because disproportionate number of cheaters used that very mouse. You can use any mouse and setup your macro system on it and let it execute on software level. Mouse you are using is not required for whatever macros you are running.

Unless you have a need to hide what kind of macros you are running, in that case yes, you need Bloody mouse.

Seems a very minor issue to refund a game over. I mean, who doesn't have an extra Mouse or 2 laying around that you could swap out at any time?

It's like returning your Television because you don't have batteries for the remote.

Or maybe there is a sinister plot afoot where the OP was about to become the ultimate cheater in Rust using the mouse but alas his attempts were foiled thus he come up with the best excuse known to man about why he was refunding the game and why he bought such a mouse.

WHO KNOWS WHAT KIND OF MAD EVIL GENIUS THIS OP IS

I used to work at an electronics store, and this happened more than once. People are straight up karens.

My guess, 3rd world country. Everything is expensive.
