SO hard to get a kill with a chainsaw or jackhammer when they run away so much!
You cannot catch a decent size dog who doesn't want you to catch it, you cannot run away from a dog who is eager to catch you. There's a rather limited number of animals with 4 legs that cannot outrun a human, most are just tiny.
Bears are relatives to dogs (just a very big doggo) and can run as fast as a horse, not as far as a horse but far enough to catch you wherever you think you're going to run away. Same goes for wolves, they outpace Usain Bolt and that's not even taking into consideration that Usain is the fastest specimen of our species - any wolf can outpace Usain Bolt.
Wolves irl are much larger than most people are prepared to believe. It is a VERY large dog and it's much stronger than dogs.
TL:DR - you got no clue just how fast animals are and that humans are simply not built to be that fast, We have lots of endurance which was helpful in pack hunting to run behind an animal until it drops tired, but we cannot just outrun and catch that many things that are a worthy meal.
In real life is not pay to win; there is no item called the 'Bandana' that can only be crafted if you own a skin for it (which costs money unless you get extremely lucky with 'loot drops', which the rust meatriders love to strawman fallacy the shrek out of) not a thing IRL
"The axe doing more damage than a sword with a heavy swing is cool, it makes the game more realistic!" to which Technoblade cut to a clip of him falling from high up and catching his fall with a water bucket and eating a whole steak at once.
Yes, bears are faster than us in real life. they also are very loud. In Rust they are silent. By the time you can hear their footsteps they are in chase distance.
I agree with you on the first paragraph though. we can not catch up to decent-sized quadruped animals traditionally. my friend has friendly Deer that let him feed and give water. That would be the r word if he put a very hypnotic fat-soluble thing w/ propylene glycol in the water and gave it to her.
In game bears are super loud, their footsteps are as loud as if they were dinosaurs galloping across a very dry land with nothing to dampen the step. And that's while casually walking... If you do not hear them then I strongly suggest looking into your audio setup or even visiting an doctor to check on your hearing.
They are obnoxiously loud
real life is pure pay to win.
Tell me you have never seen a bear before. I was hunting and I seen a blackbear swimming and when she left it was really loud.
Animals in Rust make noise, and if the bears and boars had a Steam forum, theyd probably ask for their constant advertising of their location to be removed, so just use that to avoid them :)
Speed will become irrelevant when they are not chasing you.
Also, bears can run 30mph. That makes this pretty realistic. Boars arent that fast, you can pretty easily find cliffs and other things to confuse them.
Very realistic to be able to spend IRL money to give Surgeon Scrubs, Bandana or Arctic Suit. very p2w and real!
Very realistic to build a 81 square meter house in 30 seconds also.
Why are you so salty, friend? I hope no one hurt you today. Try to have a better day. :D
To quote:
"The word "salty" originated in Middle English around 1150–1500. It comes from the word "salt" and the suffix "-y"."
And:
"Angry, upset, or unhappy:
In the late 1930s, "salty" began to be used to mean "angry, upset, or unhappy""
So yes. A grown man saying sailor slang.
Also, a grown man having to educate a grown man. Yikes.
