Primitive...
Of course its DOA.

Jumped in last night expecting to see it lively and all but nope. It was a short lived mode apparently and slowly dying off.

Good god people. Does anybody want something other than AK's blaring for once?

I miss the old Rust days...

I still have a screenshot of my friend and I using flamethrowers on a wood wall. Stupid. But fun, everyone was basically a noob and clans didn't exist (or at least not nearly as much as they do now)

I still have a screenshot of my friend and I using flamethrowers on a wood wall. Stupid. But fun, everyone was basically a noob and clans didn't exist (or at least not nearly as much as they do now)

I had such high hopes for that mode to take off! A lot of people seemed to love it from what I could tell, just being better refreshing than being camped non-stop and encouraging interaction more.

There are a few servers up but they're dying out pretty quickly.

Oh you meant about the Old Rust right? If so, disregard that lol. Old rust was one hell of a time!

Aye old Rust.

It was a work of art in a sense. I still enjoy the game now but it's a different kind of enjoyment.

If you can't dish it out and handle things being tougher, so be it. Some of us would like a change from things being so easy. Yeah, get shot and inject your self like a god and run away.. FUN.. no.

Crossbows do more good than bad, why hate that?

it will get revived once its fully built, its very lackluster atm with majority of items being from normal rust, it doesnt feel like a primitive overhaul it feels like normal rust with guns taken away.

Crossbows do more good than bad, why hate that?

It's not tougher though, it's boring.

Melee combat is so bad in this game, and the best weapon on primitive is too easy to make and cheap to craft. It makes gear pointless and the game boring.

It's not tougher though, it's boring.

Whats boring is consistently running around with AK's and snipers non-stop without engaging real combat.. its always at a distance bs.. rinse and repeat.

Yeah 200 hours of quite being bored. You're given EVERYTHING too easily. This isn't projecting and sorry pal, not all of us play this one game for 2500+ hours like you.
