Can Someone Help With Rust Crash
Hi, sorry if this is the wrong place for this post. But I've been running into some issues with rust as of late and google isn't posing much help as it seems to be a fairly unique problem from what I've researched?
Essentially, its as the title says, ONLY rust is crashing my entire PC. It happens 9 times out of 10 when I try to boot the game. I'm hoping to find someone who's experienced this as well and potentially found a fix? Below I'll put everything I've tried to fix this already, as well as my PC specs.

AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 Super
64GB DDR5
2x 1TB M.2 SSD
1x 4TB HDD

I've checked drivers (both updated them, and then reverting them from update), I've verified game files several times, I've tried a windows reinstall AND a full PC reset. I've tried scanning memory diagnostics. I've checked my boot options. I've changed the drive Rust is installed on. I've tried booting with my overclock both on and off. I've tried reinstalling the game.

When this crash happens, most of the time it almost just fully reboots the system, however sometimes it hits me with a bluescreen with a windows KERNEL_ error. This issue doesnt happen for any other application like, at all. No other games. No editing software. It is specifically rust that this happens with. Its pissing me off now lmao, if anyone has any suggestions that would be amazing.

what power management you got? experienced similar issues before upgrading on a better power supply - I definitely underestimated what ressources rust pulls of to run smooth, especially using a good video card.

But looking at your hours I kept getting the idea, that you already thought about that.

My PSU is every so slightly above what is required for my PC (whilst overclocked). Again, this issue is exclusive to rust, and I other more intensive things with 0 issue. Its not even *in game* that I crash, its just on boot. Thank you for the suggestion though!
