Cheating on the rise?

As a no life try hard sweaty nerd with 12k hours on this game recently I have found that not only the amount of cheaters but the quality of cheats has gone up.

I feel like back in the day a cheater who "span bot" would be banned within a few minutes but now I can be harassed by the same cheater for days before they receive a VAC ban and even then most of them return within a few minutes with full access to everything they owned/stole from legit players. These new cheaters can literally be speed hacking, flying, aimlocking, shooting through walls or my recent personal fav yesterday they jackhammered all my turrets through walls and killed me with a knife at 60m.

It doesn't feel like Facepunch is doing enough, especially on their own servers. My last 5k hours on this game has been to just target cheater bases basically. You find them... wait for them to be banned... foundy wipe them... the issue is thats now gotten a few of them mad at me and a select few now follow me from server to server trying to make my life hell for ... well making their cheating life harder.

but hey opening rust to linux would hurt the userbase oO this game lives from profit of cheaters buyng the game and skins but no one seems to want to admit that. its like valve saying "there arent so many cheaters" but if you look at the ban waves for this year you will see it exceeded 300 000 accounts (and thats only the ones who got detected). cheating is an industry problem aswell, since technologies like dma exist, to counter that we would need specialized hardware, splitting the userbase (that wont happen soon). VAC should be able to detect speed hacks/flying people? anyone knows since when VAC is enabled for this title?

He's just having a laugh. It seems like you that needs to figure out how to laugh irl for a minute if someone else laughing makes you that miserable that you need to comment off-topic and demand someone calm down and call them a condescending name.
