What does Vanilla mean in the server tag?

Just wondering. From what I gather, it means as close to game dev settings as possible, but what is that? Last vanilla I was on had no airdrops or metal.

Lol what a bunch of trolls. Vanilla means that if you lick the screen while playing in a "Vanilla" server that then you will taste it. See it as an extra bonus. Server admins go to incredible lengths to get people on their servers.
