Problem: Server not modded, appears in modded listing
So I'm no newb to being a server admin, been doing it for months, been on a few servers. But this one has me stumped...

The current server I play on is a HFB hosted server. It has no mods, we only altered the game with sleepers, half craft, and air drops. Everything else is stock settings.

We wondered why we got hundreds of people joining, using /commands and asking for /remove tool.

Then one of us found the server listing, its listed under modded.

Why is this happening? We are not running Oxide, Rust++ or anything else. No uploaded LUA files, just basic config.cfg files and a ban list.

Someone please help us.

Thank you,

Dub

Come and ask your question in the host technical support.
Clear config.cfg but rcon and hostname.

Actually just figured it out. I had a serverbackup.zip in my root folder. The game considered it modded because of that.

I removed the file, rebooted the server. It instantly appeared in Community section.

This problem has returned again, despite my original fix. Where is this "host technical support" page you speak of? I can not find it.

Thank you,
