Learning mouse & keyboard controls

I been watching Rust videos for weeks now and i'm super-tempted to get it but I'm a gamepad player who's never used mouse & keyboard controls for a first-person game before. How accessible do you think it'll be for me given i cant use a controller? I dont mind so much if im not owning everyone on the PvP side of things but is the PvE going to be hard for a keyboard noob?

I was a pure gamepad player on xbox 360 till september whne i finally got a decent pc if u got a decent mouse and keyboard plus pc itl be wierd at first but after a week ul find it better to play first person games on pc

Thanks rustnoobs, if i struggle tho and its too hard is the crafting side of thngs a bit easier than the fighting, so that i dont feel my moneys wasted by no being able to be competitive? i never played minecraft and the crafting looks kinda fun. does everything need to be done really quickly?
