Rust voice chat doesn't work, and Icon doesn't appear.

So I bought Rust today, and when I joined a game, I pressed "V" to voice chat with people, but the Icon would not appear, and nobody could hear me. I could however hear everyone else who was voice chatting. However, very rarely, the mic icon appears for a split second sometimes, when I'm holding down V, but then immediately goes away. I'm sure my mic works fine, it's just the game icon doesn't show and doesn't pick up my sound. Please note that in the options menu, the V key is binded both primary and secondary under "voice", if that means anything. I really hope someone could help me out here. Thanks!

Try adjusting your input level for the mic, either through your Control Panel or through Steam > Settings > Voice. Steam also has a 'Test Microphone' feature. Your mic level may just be too low.
