How many C4 for a wooden doorway with a metal door?

I'd like to know how many c4 it takes to get through a metal door in a wooden doorway WHEN the c4 is placed on the doorway, and wether the door affects the durability of the doorway. Someone on my server mentioned that it can be destroyed with 1 c4 if it is placed on the wooden doorway, is this true?
Does anyone have experience with this?
I don't have enough resources to test it on my own (and I rather ask here than waste a c4 for a single test).
I know wooden walls take 1-2 C4 and metal doors take 2 C4. But is it possible to take down the wooden doorway the metal door stands in, thereby saving C4?

I'd appreciate a quick answer since it is essential for the security rating of my 6*7*6 wood fort and therefor affecting my metal-base plans.

I think it's two required on doorway with metal door, not fully sure tho...

Wiki doesn't say anything about it either.

If you've the C4 I think it's best to test it yourself.

I heard that you need 3 C4 for a metal door. And much more for a metal wall! :D So maybe you are already safe, if you placed metal walls. If placed wooden walls instead of metal walls, what would be more logic, then you are not too safe. Cause of 1 C4, for 1 wood wall!

It's actually 2 c4 for a metal door if you place them on the door, and two for a wooden wall as well (I don't know how people can do it with 1 c4, wood walls always took 2 c4 when I tried).
But my question is, if you don't try to blow up the metal door, instead go for the doorway the metal door stands in, if it can be destroyed that way and how much c4 it takes.

I can say that two C4 is required for metal door.

One C4 for wooden wall if placed into middle of it, sometimes it uses more than one to blow wall.

Hmm, a future raider looking to rob people. Good thing im on a no raiding server, u would be kicked in a heart beat. Even if u are a raider, theres no C4 for u on this server.

Would be nice if someone actually knew the answer to this question all he is asking is "can you blow the wood doorway with a metal doorway in it? vs blowing the door" by doing so the logic is the take out the doorway with the door instead of just the door...I'd like to know too.
