change wooden door for metal

if you have a wooden door can you change it for a metal one without hacking the wooden one down?

No, you'll have to chop down the wooden door which will take some time, faster or slower depending on weapon, it's like 5 minutes of hitting on average, Then you'll have to wait 4-5 minutes and then you can place a metal door.

There are servers now that allow you to destroy your own creations with a pick axe. Hopefully this feature makes it into the main game

The 'remove' script is absolutely a game changer. All servers need to use it.

yes the remove script needs to be impimented for sure

well i found if you place a metal door on a shack then you can just as easy hack down the basic shack with your axe aswell as the wooden door ! oh well live and learn lol

Pfft I always use wooden doors, easier to replace when they attempt to raid. cracks me up. They either try to knock it down, or just use a satchel.

Well you can easly just demolish the door and Place the metal one (with a hammer) tjat only works if you made the door
