outside hidden stash/boxes not allowed anymore?

For some reason the devs decided that storage should degrade EVEN IF YOU OPEN THEM. Now storage boxes and stashes disapear along with your belongings as late as within 3days. What do we do now? there is no possible way to hide something in a house. I really want to know WHY they do not want us to hide our things from raiders, its just rediculous!

It's been like this since I've been playing for the last three weeks. Anything you create that is not on a foundation will decay a lot faster.

Just find a secluded space and put down a foundation first, then put your crate on it.

You can also use the small stashes for hiding things in your base. They hold three slots and you can place them under stairs or under objects.

Basically place a small stash in the corner of a room and then place a furnace or something like that over it. To access it, you need to destroy that object.... But it can be good for keeping the more valuable items out of sight from the less experienced players.

ok, thanks I like the last idea. I read this decay thing in the last update. it used to be you could use the item and it would not decay. I also googled videos on hiding things. its just imposible to hide something inside a house unless its huge or under furnature like you said.

Hiding things unfortunately does not work with the "vision" hack or whatever its called.

so there is a vision hack? i though it was so stupid that no matter how i build my structure people know exactly where to c4 it.
