Removing building parts needs to be easier in pve

I spent at least seven hours building a house on a pve no raiding, no killing server, only to log in today and find someone had built some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stairs to try stealing my stuff. With no way to remove them, I'm stuck with an ugly staircase on my house. I'm done with this game for at least a little while. People can't just not be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, apparently.

if the server uses oxide the admin can use the remover plugin and come and remove the stairs for you.

Rust++ have an option to remove the pillars ,fudations etc. AS an Admin i can remove anything you want if you want(if you request) If you wanna join my server and play join in:)

Facepunch didnt remember to block someone from building near your house, this is some minecraft copy for kids who have no life and spend an entire day building idiot giant houses. This is a proper game for kids.

You can just destroy stairs with a hatchet/pickaxe.

As I said above, you cannot destroy pillars. Least not without an admin on a server that has that mod on.

The worst part was that the person literally built these stairs right on top of my own foundation!

I've had it with this for a little bit. Maybe way later tonight I'll give it another go, but for now, it's out of the question. It bothers me more that it's not even the game, but the person just being a jerk that ends up with me having wasted so much time. Again #7.

If it's a non-pvp server, I'll probably give it a shot later. Not quite sure how to join that way, though.

On an unrelated note, I honestly do like the game so far. Definitely needs some tweaks, at the very least, but for alpha, it's great.
