Just shell out the money and get a legit copy from steam.

legit copy?

Currently rust is only for sale on steam.
If you buy a copy somewhere else it may be a pirated copy that is being sold at discount.

Buy it off traders from regions where the game is cheaper and you can easily get it at that price.

rust used to be free then they decided to charge people for it

best not to play around to save a few pennies and end up with the game removed from your account and out of money from some crooks that will never return it to you

steam has been known to remove games from people account when the keys later turn out to be not legit keys... like when someone buys keys, then sells them and then does a charge back on prepaid credit card... so buyer ends up having his keys removed and the sellers has disappeared and will not refund...

so there is no free lunch. too good to be true is too good to be true. the game is only on sale on steam and its not discounted. and remember if u buy in other country perhaps the keys may not unlock in your region and even if they do now they may not in the future when they crack down on it. also if u buy from another country their are exchange rates and credit card fees related to exchange rates and higher risk of fraud to deal all which will be added to your credit card bill and not show up on initial transaction...

so buy it from steam legit and u wont have problems. its $20 game for god sake...

Rust is completely region free. It will work anywhere, no matter where you buy it.The copies already bought will always be region-free, its impossible to lock them.
You can easily get the game for less than 12$ with Steam/TF2 trading.

Buy 6 TF2 keys, trade those keys for this game using steam trading window. Done.

Hi i am the owner of a new server called Onslaught we run 2 mods nothing more than that. we run Economy where you earn cash to where u can spend it with the /price menu and where u can also place hits on your enemies or friends. i am the only admin right now and i play the game with the players with no admin powers or extra abilities at all. if you have the time please give us a try our info is net.connect 66.223.16.10:28015 and we look forward to playing with you.
