Is there a way to remove something you place?

Is ther a way to remove something you build or is it permenant? Also how you you break doors? Me and my friend had our town raided last night while we were asleep and got cherry picked of our vast supply of stuff. Not the biggest dewal, but the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ built a structure in the middle of our castle we were building. just walled up a section and put a door on it. How did he remove and get in the doors on our shacks and how do I remove the fkn door on his?

Also what is decay and is there any way to stop it? i hadd walled in our little village thinking it would be safe from all but explosivees, but apparantly not.

c4 is pretty much the only way destroy objects, I do hope they change this

Wooden stuff you could use your pickaxe or hatchet.

its a huge wooden gate. Whe had laid the foundation and build uprights and he sealed it in and put up a gate

It takes a long time to break things currently, they are going to fix that in an upcoming patch sometime soon hopefully. For now, join a server where you can get aid from administrators to do those types of things.

RustLand is pretty good with that.

yeah i broke thru, used nades on the metal door behind that, and am still crafting more damn nades to get thru THAT door now. Can I use the pickaxe to break down a metal dor,or only explosions? Can I shoot it down?

Only explosives can take down metal stuff.

Some servers have admin with removal tools.. such as mine... but I say pack up and rebuild broski because a lot of admins wont do it... such as me.

Lame, thanks for the help tho. I am ADDICTED to this game. If only dildo griefers would just find someplace to crawl in and die slowly and painfully. I figured out what happened and it my own stupid fault. the guy jump[ed off the rock our facilities are next to, then killed me, took my one explosive charge and detonated it blowing up all the wooden doors and barricade in the AOE. Then he cherry picked. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...
